DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

ReelSaver respects the intellectual property of creators and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how ReelSaver handles content and how rights holders can report infringement.

We don't host content

ReelSaver does not host, store, cache or index any videos, photos or audio. When a user pastes a link to a public Instagram post, the file is fetched from Instagram's servers and passed straight to that user's device. Nothing is kept on our servers afterwards, and there is no searchable library of downloaded media on this site.

Private posts and accounts are never accessible through ReelSaver. If a post is deleted or made private on Instagram, it can no longer be fetched through ReelSaver either — removing content at the source is the fastest way to stop it being downloaded anywhere.

Our users' responsibility

Our Terms of Service only allow users to download content they own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally entitled to use. Re-uploading or commercially using someone else's work without consent is prohibited.

Submitting a takedown notice

If you believe ReelSaver is being used to infringe your copyright — for example, a specific Instagram post you own should be blocked from being fetched — email rajrajput181@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:

What happens next

We review every valid notice, normally within 2 working days. Where appropriate we will block the reported URLs so they can no longer be fetched through ReelSaver, and confirm to you by email once that's done. We may also restrict access for users who repeatedly misuse the Service.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was blocked by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address explaining why, with your contact details and a statement made in good faith under penalty of perjury.
